Mil Palmeras is a very popular area known for its wonderful sandy beach which is mentioned as one of the best beaches in Spain and has been awarded the blue flag. In the immediate area there are also plenty of services such as grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and tennis and paddle tennis courts. There are nature trails for walking and good cycle paths in the immediate area. The town of Pilar de la Horadada is within cycling distance and there are services such as banks, pharmacies and a large selection of restaurants and bars. Torrevieja can be reached by car in about 20 minutes.
